Key points I heard were;
Resource estimate target for Q1 2012 which is end of March. They haven't 'drawn the line in the sand' yet meaning they haven't cut off assays to be included. Takes about 2 weeks to compile the # and about 45 days to write the official report. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not ready for PDAC personally.
Frank mentioned a few times how this RE is key for the region and first of it's kind and will put SE Quebec on the map. Any good results out of the region are good for everyone in the region.
Some holes from 2011 won't be included, some holes from 2012 won't be included - of which there are 6 completed already. They will be on the next one...
Says this will be the first RE but will receive many updates and thinks they are obviously scratching the surface as they've drilled in a 500x500m area and gold is probably not simply contained in only this area.
Mentioned Champagne Zone and that it's a VMS style - if resuls are favourable then GNH will be a 2 type deposit company in SE Quebec.
Positives of location are basic infrastructure - can drive his car on the site, power etc. Drawbacks are that they are not in a gold region...mining infrastructure.
Wouldn't engage discussion about mining the property too soon. Frank has no interest in selling the company at these levels.
2 drills going...which I knew but I actually don't know if they still are. If so, that's great.
They spent $4M last year, most of that in the region and they have no issues with locals etc.
