Makes me wonder; If I deposit $100. into a bank-1 savings account they, by the fractional rule can lend nine times that $100. to others. Hmmm. They could lend $100. to nine individuals to buy food, beer, clothes and real things ... but what if they lent (deposited) $100. to bank-2 thru bank-10 ??? which each could in turn lend/depost to nine other banks. WHOA ! My $100. could quickly become very big on paper. Sort of like the penny that doubles every day soon becomes an astonominal figure. I MUST be wrong and it couldn't work that way. RIGHT ?
